I think when you are young, you are crazy. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting it to change. That is what young people do. The older we get the less crazier we get, but then the young people think we are crazy. We merely have decided to start learning from our bad choices. Young people are stubborn and hard headed, they don't want to learn from their mistakes, their bad choices, so they keep trying to do it the same way over and over and get nowhere. The only way to get different results is to change the way you're doing it.
Today I have to take a step back and check myself. I am not in a good living situation, and I have no one but myself to blame for it. I allowed the circumstances to become what they are. I can blame no one but myself. The fact that I am now 43 years old, I am very tired of making bad choices and putting myself in a drama situation. I have had the opportunity to live by myself for 8 months out of 43 years, and it was wonderful. I have also had the opportunity of living with a friend who is laid back and not about the drama, and that was a wonderful experience as well. What I have found out through this experience, I don't miss the drama. So, from this day forward, I do solemnly swear to make better decisions with my life, I deserve better, I should give myself better by making better decisions.
