Future Catastrophic Events

The Discovery Channel has been playing a lot of end times kind of stuff. Like there are five predictions of catastrophic events that are going to happen here in the United States.

They are talking about an asteroid between 450 meters and 612 meters wide is supposed to hit Washington D.C., and there will be house size asteroids hitting everywhere else. The big one that hits D.C. will flatten buildings up to 3 miles away.

They talked about another event of some type of mega hurricane, also known as a hyper-hurricane, covering the entire state of California, they will have up to 20 feet high flooding.

Another one is the volcano at Yellowstone Park in Colorado, this is considered a super volcano, they predict that it will cause a 25 mile high ash cloud, and it will cover over 2/3 of the United States, totally blocking out the sun.

Back in 1811, Tennessee had an enormous earthquake which created the largest lake in the state called Reelfoot Lake. Now it is predicted to have another earthquake that will effect five other states around it.

Last but not least by far, is the mega tsunami that will hit the entire east coast of the United States. There are predictions ranging from 100 feet high to approximately 45 miles high. If it reaches the highest prediction, Florida is history. Even at 100 feet high, the waters are predicted to go inland 40 miles. Fortunately in our favor, a series of events will have to happen before we get this tsunami.
First the earthquake waiting to happen in North Africa will occur. That will trigger the volcano in the Canary Islands. Because it has been a long time since it has erupted, the caves/tunnels from the lava before has filled with water. So....when the volcano goes to erupt, the water will turn to steam and eventually explode, needing release, and half the island falls into the ocean, this is called a landslide, causing a mega tsunami. The prediction is that we have a 1 in 1000 chance of seeing this within the next 100 years.
