Well, it's
Biketoberfest again. The next thing is
Turkey Rod again. I love it!
Harley Davidson's and Hot Rods. What's that sound that Tim the tool man Taylor makes? aaahhhh...ahh..aaahhh. lol. My job has a
pumpkin carving contest every year, never won, but it's really fun. We carve the pumpkins

and let our guest at the restaurant be the judges. Come to find out, while I was searching for pumpkin stencils, the origin of pumpkin carving came from the Irish. Many years ago a farmer died, they believed his spirit walked the earth in purgatory, so they carved turnips to scare away his spirit and other wayward spirits. The pumpkin came when they migrated to North America. I thought that was pretty cool, mainly because I'm Irish, and it's kinda cool to have a tradition from my heritage/culture. We also have a desert contest at Christmas time, that I have won, grandma's apple pie. I like this time of year because I get to cook, and watch people enjoy themselves, when they taste my good cooking, lol. Don't want

to toot my own horn, but when your good....your good. So, I am enthusiastic about this holiday season, and I hope that everyone enjoys it. Just remember, a gift from the heart is better than any gift from the store. I am going to have joy this year no matter what is happening in this economy, we can't let negative situations rob us of our joy. We do have a choice, I choose happiness.
