I have a 20' cabin cruiser 1979 Caprice by Sport-Craft. I've had it out on the Halifax River a few times. It doesn't really go very fast, maybe 25 to 30 mph. It's a heavy boat that really needs a larger engine. I have a 115hp Evinrude on it. It's my first boat, and I love going out on the water, and going fishing. Although, I seem to only catch catfish and stingrays, I still have a lot of fun. I really started getting into boats a few years back, when my friend invited me to go out in Titusville to go camping on an island in the Indian River. It was so awesome, especially when we would go for the midnight drive. Sometimes the critters in the water would glow green, and you could see schools of fish, one time we saw a four foot gator glowing under the water, and another time we saw a large stingray with a wing span of approximately 3 - 3.5' wide. I would have to say that it was one of the greatest times in my life. I've never seen anything like it. During the day we went to a place called Haulover , and you
get close with the manatees in the wild. Years ago I didn't know any better, and I got in the water and swam around and petted a momma manatee and she had a baby with her that would swim around her when I was rubbing her belly, and when she turned over, and I rubbed her back the baby would cling to the mother's belly. I would say about a 100 yards off was a 10 foot gator floating on top of the water sun bathing. These are memories I will cherish forever, and hope to make more like them. I have the boat listed on craigslist.org, I am listing the link for my boat if you want to check it out.
